🧭 Mission of the Role
Define and implement the data architecture vision for large-scale data products—ensuring alignment with business objectives, governance standards, high data quality, and analytics readiness. Serve as the lead architect for cloud-native data platforms, responsible for data modeling, governance frameworks, and reusable data-product components.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Lead design of conceptual, logical, and physical data models (CDM, LDM, PDM) for enterprise data products and BI/DWH platforms.
- Design and implement data-product architecture on Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
- Establish data-governance, MDM and data-lineage frameworks to ensure cross-domain consistency and compliance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data-governance teams, and product owners to align solutions with organizational goals.
- Promote architectural standards, reusable components, and best practices across domains.
- Provide thought leadership, mentor other architects/engineers, and enforce architecture governance protocols.
🎯 Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years’ experience in data engineering or data architecture roles, with enterprise-level architecture implementation exposure.
- Strong expertise in data modelling (CDM/LDM/PDM).
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-native data warehouses.
- Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, MDM, and data catalog technologies (e.g., Atlan, Collibra)—practical experience preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; strong written & spoken English.
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical qualification.
