Full job description
The Auditor is responsible for evaluating financial records, internal controls, and business processes to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations. The role focuses on identifying risks, improving processes, and maintaining transparency and accuracy across operations.
Key Responsibilities
Audit Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement audit plans, schedules, and checklists.
- Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits.
- Perform risk assessments and identify weak areas.
Review & Verification
- Examine financial statements, reports, and accounting records.
- Verify adherence to internal policies, tax laws, and statutory rules.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
Internal Controls & Risk Management
- Evaluate effectiveness of internal controls and governance structures.
- Identify control gaps, fraud risks, and weaknesses.
- Recommend improvements and corrective actions.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare audit reports, findings, and presentations.
- Highlight compliance issues and suggest solutions.
- Submit reports to management on time.
Compliance & Advisory
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and accounting standards.
- Assist with statutory audits, tax filings, and external audits.
- Provide advisory on compliance and financial integrity.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of audit standards and accounting principles.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- High attention to detail and ethical standards.
- Proficiency in audit tools, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
- Good communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Professional certifications like CA, CPA, CIA, or CISA preferred.
- 2–5 years of internal/external/compliance audit experience.
- Two-wheeler is mandatory.
- Only male candidates can apply.
