Full job description
Role Definition:
The Photo Editor is responsible for editing, curating, and managing photographs to ensure consistent quality and alignment with Mayartha’s visual standards. The role also involves coordination with the Operations Head and clients for edit inputs and feedback.
Responsibility Deliverables:
- Photo editing and file management.
- Quality control, brand consistency, and timely delivery.
- Communication with the client and technical team.
Tasks and Activities:
1) Photo editing and file management:
- Editing images from wedding, product, and fashion projects.
- Reviewing and shortlisting the best images based on focus, framing, and composition.
- Performing color correction, tone adjustments, exposure balancing, and retouching.
- Applying creative enhancements when required (skin retouching, background cleanup, stylization).
- Preparing final images for print, web, albums, or digital delivery.
- Organizing and backing up all files systematically.
- Maintaining Lightroom catalogs, Photoshop files, and shared project folders.
2) Quality control, delivery timelines, and technical proficiency:
- Ensuring all images reflect Mayartha’s brand aesthetics.
- Conducting consistency checks across photo sets.
- Meeting all deadlines as assigned by the operations team.
- Keeping updated with editing trends, tools, and techniques.
3) Communication with client and technical team:
- Collaborating with Operations Head, photographers, and videographers.
- Coordinating with clients to understand color tones, moods, and preferences.
- Sending previews for review and implementing feedback.
- Providing suggestions to improve shoot and editing workflows.
Tools & Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and related tools.
- Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling.
- High attention to detail and consistency.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Requirements:
- Education: 12th Pass (Preferred)
- Experience: 1 year in Photo Editing (Required)
- Languages: English (Preferred), Kannada (Preferred)
- Ability to Relocate: Candidate must be able to commute or relocate to Bengaluru.
- Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred)
